AOR - Obalende Road

About this project

This project involved the full-depth reconstruction and strategic widening of a 2.75km township bypass corridor engineered to divert heavy transit traffic away from the inner-township center and optimize regional traffic distribution. The core of the facility features a geometric expansion to a 9.0m-wide heavy-duty asphalt concrete surface, optimized for structural durability under continuous heavy vehicle distribution and increased axle loads. To ensure seamless integration with the surrounding urban infrastructure and municipal networks, precision alignment and structural tie-ins were executed along the corridor.Ground alignment and spatial transitions were managed through precision urban periphery engineering, vital for protecting surrounding utilities and minimizing municipal disruption. Internal traffic flow and regional logistics are facilitated by a heavy-duty bypass roadway network built to relieve inner-city congestion, specifically designed to withstand high-volume transit routes while meeting rigorous public works standards.

  • Total Footprint: 2.75km township bypass corridor expanded to a 9.0m-wide heavy-duty carriage width
  • Primary Facility: 2.75km x 9.0m heavy-duty asphalt concrete bypass roadway
  • Civil Engineering: Strategic urban infrastructure tie-ins & municipal network integration
  • Logistics & Access: Strategic traffic diversion corridor designed for high-volume freight and transit movement
